What it is, we can’t really say. That is why it sounds so confusing. But this is what is known: The North American continent is a series of separate nations, which may or may not be at war.
How did it start? There are opinions. Of this much, we are sure. The Confederacy returned, shrouded in secrecy. Until the advent of the colonization of Maine by the Neo Nazi’s, the people of the People of Greater New England and quite possible the denizens of Big California were worried about lynchings and racism and hotbeds and flying fried chickens raining excess fatty foods down on their wonderful national borders.
This is probably not the case. But nothing is sure in this day and age, where every day is a New Year.
